Latasha Hastie recently entered and won the 2021 Polson Higgs / Young Farmers Innovation Competition.

Latasha presented a 7-minute speech on "What Farming would look like in the year 2040"Her speech covered multiple topics such as Farmers Mental Health, leading the exporting world of Agriculture, being the first carbon-neutral Agriculture Country (great Marketing) Wool prices and the new use of Technology. Latasha put a lot of herself into this speech as she wants to someday own her Family Farm in the year 2040, so of course, she included herself in what farming would look like in the year 2040.This was a great opportunity, that has now taken her down many different pathways. 

This is a fantastic achievement.
