Tessa (McConachie) and Amelia (Kirk) and two other girls from other schools in Dunedin placed first in the female section of the competition and fifth overall in the South Island Secondary Schools Climbing Completion in Christchurch late last week. They have been training hard for the last few weeks, meeting 2-3 times a week. Thanks go to Tim Bartholomew of Dunedin Adventures for his dedication to the team.
