Hip Hop Unite Nationals - Results
On Saturday 2 September, 21 of our amazing, hardworking students competed in the Hip Hop Unite Nationals competition. The calibre of the competition was intense, and all students (whether they were competing for St Hilda's or their dance studios) performed amazingly.
I am very proud of the mana and energy that all St Hilda's students showed over the entire weekend.
Results:
Revolution - Year 7 and 8 Mega crew (Lucy Audeau, Emma Bezett, Amelia Bunn, Xanthe Dillion, Arli Fisher, Stella Harvey, Sophie King, Māia Koni, Izzy O'Brien, Clara Platt, Katie Soper, Olivia Williams) came 1st in their category - Mega Crew Cadet. This crew was coached by Sophie Burke and Emily Wright, who showed strong leadership and manaakitanga throughout the time leading up to the competition.
Entity - (Coached by St Hilda's Alumna Sophie Wispinski) competed in the Secondary Small Crew category (Elisa Fitzgerald, Victoria Avery, Chika Oshima, Lizzy Park, Emily Wright). These students were also powerful role models for the younger students. I would like to thank them for their support of the Year 7 & 8 students while at the competition.
RASA crew IMPRINT (Neve Crossan, Charlotte Cardno and Lola Matahaere-Veint) came 3rd in the Junior Future Champions Category.
RASA crew VISION (Flo Barnett and Grace McAuley) came 1st in their category Cadet Future Champions.
RASA crew ALLIES (Maisie O'Donnell) came 2nd in their category, Junior Hip Hop Unite.
