We have a couple of things on over the next few weeks, if they are of interest to you then pop along and support our students at these events. It is great that we are able to start getting our awesome students out into the community again to showcase what we can do and do so well.

Shakespeare evening showcase

Kings and Queens Performing Art Theatre are planning to proceed with an evening showcase of the award winning scenes from the Otago Regional SGCNZ University of Otago Shakespeare Competition. The date is confirmed as:

Thursday 12th May - Week 2
* 7pm start (TBC)* Door sales $10 adults/ $5 students (no Eftpos)

The scenes to be performed are: (not necessarily in this order)

King’s - Hamlet
Kavanagh - Macbeth and Hamlet
LPHS - Macbeth and AMSND
Columba - Macbeth and Love's Labour’s Lost
SHCS - AMSND St Hilda's will be performing A Midsummer Night's Dream, a 15 minute piece directed by Amelie Warlow. Cast: Tunmise Adebowale as Oberon, Evie Rose Grace as Puck, April Kerr as Hermia, Stella Bowles as Helena, Elibel Legrand as Lysander, Sienna Wright as Demetrius

Toitu Music Month of May

If you happen to be out and about over the weekend then pop along to Toitu, where we will have students from St Hilda's performing in the foyer. Sit and have a coffee while listening to these students in this amazing space, or pull up a beanbag and show them you are a fan! Each student has been given a 15 minute slot between the hours of 12:30 and 3:45pm

Saturday 7th May - Hannah Lawrence on acoustic guitar between 12:30 and 1:30 

Saturday 14th May - 1:30pm - Elisa Fitzgerald on acoustic guitar. 2:15pm - Chloe Wu on piano. 3:00pm - Nemo Asawaborisuttikul on acoustic guitar
