To celebrate the end of internals the Year 12's experimented with no rise needed cinnamon scrolls. A recipe that comes highly recommended from the food room. Buttermilk was the key to texture and rise because of its acidic content it helps tenderize the gluten to give a softer texture and more body! (No doubt the extra baking powder helped the rise too.)

We also made some easy kidney beans and corn tortillas. A fast recipe loaded with protein from cheese and beans. Yum!
