'St Hilda's Collegiate School come out on top in New Zealand Adobe Certified Associate Championship!'

Isla Huffadine —

Lily Knox, as part of the Year 11 Digital Technologies programme, was the New Zealand Winner of the Adobe Certified Associate Championship for her website design entry.

The competition invites New Zealand students to take on a “real world” project and prove their superior digital communications skills using Adobe software products. This year the project involved designing collateral for one of the three organisations that partnered with NZIQ to provide NZQA Digital Technology Projects for New Zealand Students.

Lily’s entry was representing Blind + Low Vision NZ’s Bikkie Day Event. Due to Covid-19, Lily was not able to compete at the Adobe World Championships, which were to be held in Los Angeles this year. However, Lily will receive a significant cash prize for her efforts.

Courtney Lloyd also received a Highly Commended for her entry. This is the first year that St Hilda’s has had a winning entry.

Well done girls, these are amazing achievements! Take a look here for more information.
