Notification of road works by Olveston

The Dunedin City Council will be repairing a retaining wall at Olveston House between 42 and 46 Royal Terrace starting from next week.

Work will start next Monday, 8 May at about 8am. As this involves craning in machinery, there will be no pedestrian access on the footpath outside Olveston House on Royal Terrace. Vehicle parking outside Olveston and 46 Royal Terrace will also be unavailable while this is completed. These restrictions will only apply during the morning as they setup, the machinery should be in place by noon.

A temporary pedestrian walkway will be setup for the duration of the works to allow foot traffic past the job site. Traffic management will also be arranged to allow truck movement to and from the site. The entire replacement project should take about three months to complete.

Any queries regarding this matter should be directed to DCC.
