International Department

We have had a busy term, lots of hard work has taken place, but there has been some fun and one or two adventures along the way.

At the beginning of August one of our students had her 16th birthday. Initially her family were going to come to New Zealand to celebrate with her, but of course were unable to due to border restriction. With the aid of some International Buddies a cunning plan was hatched and a surprise birthday party was held.

We have had students attend the senior Formal and Year 11 Dance, always a highlight for the year.

Fun was had one evening learning to bake some Kiwi favorites, even more fun was had the day after when we got to sample the delicious goodies.

Then a number of girls finished off the term with a bang. They were lucky enough to go on the Geography field trip to Mount Cook. What an amazing experience and memory for them to take back to their home countries. They got up close and personal with the Tasman Glacier and even got to touch an ice-burg.
