Things have certainly been different at Tolcarne this week! We have been back into our Level 2 procedures, with the girls adjusting so well.
We would like to say a massive thank you to all of our boarding families for filling out the wellness declaration before the girls return from overnight/weekend leave! It has made the return of your daughters that much easier - thank you Please remember to complete the form again this weekend.
On Wednesday night the Year 9 girls had their Koru session. They were focussing on fear and what this looked like. To begin with they were blindfolded in the basement, being lead through a mystery track around the hostel and outside. We heard a variety of different screams as they navigated their way down the bush track, holding onto the person in front and a piece of string. Everyone shared the emotions they felt during the challenge, along with what they considered to be their 'fears'. All of the girls were brave in sharing what they were afraid of and conquering the outdoor challenge!
Flexi Prep was also up and running last night. There was the option to make lavender bags, mini bunting, facemasks and fimo earrings. This is a great opportunity for the girls to be involved in activities that are creative and potentially new to them!
We have had to postpone our famous Tolcarne Social scheduled for next week, until Term 4. We will now have it on Thursday of Week 2 - giving the junior girls longer to plan their perfect costume! The Hawaiian theme will remain, with the weather hopefully being warmer to match the tropical outfits!
A massive thank you from all of us at Tolcarne to the Roslyn Medical team. They have been busy administering the ACWY Vaccine to all girls who signed up (which we must add were all extremely brave having it done!)
Have a look below at some photos of the girls dressed up for Angel Day at school this morning! They all looked the part in their white outfits Have an amazing weekend
