What a busy week the girls have had. Surfing was the weekend activity held on Sunday, with fantastic weather. They enjoyed learning the basic knowledge of how to surf, before being able to hit the waves and see who could master standing for the longest. This activity was topped off by being able to catch the double decker bus home.

On Monday night we had a Tribe chant competition. Each Tribe had to perform their chant whilst trying to get everyone into a pyramid formation. There were many different variations of the traditional pyramid, but it was highly entertaining. Highgate and Baxter were the winners of the challenge, gaining 50 points each and pushing Baxter to the top of the overall leaderboard.

This weekend also has a lot going on, with the school fair on Saturday and the opportunity to attend the Burn Bright workshops. Burn Bright are an Australian organisation offering students tailored workshops, aiming to develop a shift in mindset and personal wellbeing. This is an amazing opportunity for our girls and we can’t wait to see what they take from the sessions. The weekend activity for Sunday is paddle boarding – another fun chance to make the most of the warm weather we have been experiencing. We look forward to seeing you all at our baking stall during the fair on Saturday.
