School Holiday Sport Competitions

Over the Term 2 break, many students participated in different sporting competitions.

Netball

Our Year 9 & 10A Netball teams participated in the Junior South Island Netball Championships during the first week of the holidays. Both teams had a great tournament and put 110% out on court. Our year 9's had a good start winning 3 of the 5 round games, after a couple of hard finals, the team finished 11th, having beat Wakatipu 26-17.

The Year 10's won all their round games and fought hard over the finals games, they lost their quarter final against Waimea by 2!! A hard last game versus Rangiora saw the team finish 6th. A great achievement for all involved.

Anna swam a PB in the 50 free, 50 Back and 100 free. Sophie got a PB in the 100 free as well, and was right on her best time in the 200 IM and the 50 Backstroke.
