Junior Itinerant Music Workshop Day

This past Wednesday a keen and eager group of Year 7-10 St Hilda’s music students went to King’s and Queen’s High Schools to be part of the Itinerant Music Workshop Day for 2022. The day allowed students to gain experience of playing in a concert band or a string ensemble setting where they could develop their musical skills and play as a team in their instrument sections.

This is the first time in two years that this musical event has been able to take place. Everyone had a great day rehearsing in their groups and took on the challenge of learning new music with fantastic results. The afternoon concert was enjoyed by many parents to share the day’s efforts. It was really pleasing to see our students take up the opportunity to participate in the Itinerant Workshop Day.
