On Tuesday after school the Year 9s got creative, baking and icing Matariki themed galaxy cookies. We swirled food colouring to create a galaxy effect, topping the shapes with edible glitter and 'stars' to look like the night sky! This was a fun way to celebrate the upcoming Matariki Day.

On Tuesday evening we had Year 10 Koru. This week the students had the chance to write warm fuzzies to one another, our favourite feel good activity. These were handed back at bedtime, where each student could read their wee bag of notes from everyone in their year group. Robyn also got the sewing machines out, helping students make their own wheat-bags! This was a great chance to replace any hotties before going home for the long weekend.
