Tolcarne News

Hi everyone

We hope you all had an enjoyable long weekend. It was very quiet at Tolcarne, so it is nice to have all the girls back again!

This week Dotti and Beth have been completing 'warm fuzzies' with each year group at the hostel. Warm fuzzies is an activity where the girls wrote messages for each other within their year group. At bed time the Head Boarders delivered the individual envelopes full of warm fuzzy messages for the girls to read! It was such a nice activity for all to be involved in, creating that 'feel good' factor

The Tribes have been earning points over lockdown by taking part in the photo competitions run by Beth and Dotti. Now that we are back at the hostel, points are given out for continuing to demonstrate our Tolcarne values, with girls getting their cards signed in recognition. Well done everyone, and to Ziggy who has been the most proactive staff member for handing out points this week!

The Tribe Points from after lockdown are.....

Highgate  - 220 points

Baxter  - 215 points

Falkland  - 170 points

Grendon  - 155 points

Flexi Prep is now back up and running on Thursday nights. This is an alternative option to prep once a week, where the girls can participate in different activities. Last night there was the option to try live drawing with Ella, knitting hats, making bracelets and sewing mini bunting!
