End of Year Student Reflection on Learning

As part of the ongoing review of how we report on learning we have involved students in the end of year reporting. In Whanau time this week the students have taken time to reflect on their learning. This is a chance for them to talk about their learning - the things that have gone well and the things they are keen to work on. There was also space to look at the SHCS values and attributes and how they believe they relate to them. The students will share these reflections with you in the next week and are presently sharing them with their Whanau teacher. We encourage you to look at them together and talk about the learning. These reflections are an important part of our aim to put students at the centre of their learning and give them opportunities to lead conversations around their learning.
