Get better prepared for emergencies - join Otago Gets Ready!

Last Friday's earthquake/tsunami warnings sure were a timely reminder about the value of community preparedness and quick response in emergencies!

Emergency Management Otago (EMO) recently launched 'Otago Gets Ready' and they're keen to get as many people in the region signed up as possible. It's a great way for Civil Defense to send targeted email/text communications quickly to residents, regarding emergency situations directly affecting them. It also helps the EMO team understand what skills and resources are available in communities and who may need extra assistance.
