International Women's Day

As you may remember, we recently celebrated International Women's Day (IWD) with a week of activities and celebrations. 

This year the worldwide theme was 'I choose to challenge'. The purpose of this idea was that "A challenged world is an alert world. Individually, we're all responsible for our own thoughts and actions - all day, every day. We can all choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality. We can all choose to seek out and celebrate women's achievements. Collectively, we can all help create an inclusive world." (for more information see the IWD link here)

A video was put together by the prefects around this very movement. Students and staff shared what they chose to challenge, creating deeper thought and celebration around what it means to be a woman. See the video attached below!
