The St Hilda's 125th Anniversary

What a wonderful weekend of celebrations, fellowship, reconnection and lots and lots of noise!

The 125th Anniversary was a fabulous event with 600+ Old Girls and friends of the school coming together to celebrate this milestone occasion. The stories, recollections and memories shared were simply marvellous, and it was lovely to see friendships being renewed. We feel very fortunate that COVID-19 did not disrupt our plans, and also that the Dunedin weather behaved perfectly.

There are so many people to thank, from the fabulous student tour guides, the Prefects, the Kapa Haka group, Sings Hilda, all the staff and Tolcarne staff, and the very hard-working SLT, PFA and Old Girls' Association. There are too many individuals to thank here but to everyone who had a part to play in helping make this massive event run smoothly, we are very grateful for your efforts. And to our sponsors, whose support we truly appreciate: Craigs Investment Partners - Chris Timms and Peter McIntyre; Roslyn Fresh Choice; Mosgiel New World; Dave Callon - SHARE; Dwelling Architectural Design; Anderson Lloyd; Mercy Healthcare; Gallaway Cook Allan; Mitchell Daysh; Moyles Fresh Choice Green Island, and Rationale.

Photos from the event can be viewed and purchased here.

We are taking orders for the special jewellery that was produced for the 125th, and the special edition of the Chronicle is also available for purchase - please contact aburke@shcs.school.nz for details.
