Kia ora Tolcarne whanau. How are we already at the end of Week 8? Time is flying by!

On Tuesday we baked cinnamon scrolls after school, complete with a delicious sugary glaze on top! This was a great recipe, found on instagram via Kittys Kitchen. Check out the link to her instagram page here and spot all of the other divine looking treats!

Wednesday evening meant it was time for the annual Otago Boys Dinner Swap. The seniors hosted at Tolcarne, with Robyn and I taking the juniors to OBs for a night at their hostel! Ross cooked a delicious butter chicken with naan bread, while we were lucky enough to have the option of fish, curry or vegetarian lasagne. 

After dinner we competed in a quiz at Otago Boys, while the seniors played a game of netball at Tolcarne. 

The food and entertainment made for a fantastic few hours, along with catching up with familiar faces. A special thanks to Otago Boys for hosting us, we had a great time and it was awesome to experience dining at another hostel! 

Many of the Year 10 and 11 students have been preparing for our favourite weekend away - the Tolcarne ski trip! Robyn has been cooking and baking goodies, while we have had our fingers crossed for good weather! We can't wait to share our weekend with you all, so keep an eye out for pictures on our Facebook and instagram accounts!
