Open Evening 2022

We will be holding our Open Evening on Thursday, July 28th from 7pm - 9pm. This is an important date in our school calendar and a chance to showcase our school.

In order to allow the school to be set up, timetabled classes will finish at 12.30pm on the Thursday. Timetabled classes will then resume at 9.40am (period 2) on Friday, July 29th.

In both cases, the library will be open after school and before school for any students who need supervision. Information regarding students' attendance will be sent out soon as numbers will need to be confirmed.

All students, apart from Year 11, are expected to be at Open Evening, either as a guide or in a Learning Area.

If this is not possible, please email admin@shcs.school.nz with your child's name and the reason by the end of the term - Friday 8th July

• Some Year 11 will be involved if they are in Madrigali Rouge, Ngā Manu ō Hira Tapu - Kapa Haka or senior dance as arranged by the teacher

• Full, immaculate uniform will need to be worn unless told differently by their teacher e.g Dance group

• Years 13, 10 and 8 will need to be back at school for Open Evening at 6.45 p.m. as they are tour guides. Masks will need to be worn

• Years 7, 9 and 12 need to be in their designated Learning Area by 7pm

• Year 7 can be picked up at 8pm

• For Years 13, 12, 10 and 9 the evening will end at 9pm
