Tolcarne News
Kia ora Tolcarne whānau, we are officially past the half way mark for Term 1!
On Sunday Bex took the juniors on a mystery bus trip. They walked the Tunnel Beach track, explored Brighton Beach and finished with snacks at the local dairy.
On Tuesday after school we headed down to Timezone for the afternoon. This was one of our big outings for the term, so excitement levels were high! We won toys, ate lots of lollies and enjoyed all of the games they had on offer
During prep time this week we've had a focus on our contribution for the Hawkes Bay care packages St Hilda's are putting together. This has been a lovely initiative, enabling us to support students of a similar age, who have been through the devastating recent events. Each key chain has been made with care and aroha, which we hope brightens the day of whoever receives them #bettertogether
On Thursday Mrs Rathbone, Mrs Maw and some of our students headed off to the Wanaka Show. They are excited to meet lots of new faces and see some familiar smiles around Wanaka. If you are around, make sure to visit site CV8 - you might be able to see our new St Hilda's scrunchies or try one of the homemade cookies
Have a fabulous weekend everyone, hopefully a few more days of sunshine! Ma tē wā
