Abel Tasman Trip

The Year 12 Physical Education and Outdoor Education students went on their Abel Tasman expedition last week!

After a long bus trip and a busy time organising their gear, the girls entered the National Park on Monday morning, tramping or kayaking. The weather was appalling, with torrential downpours for the first 2 and 1/2 days. The girls showed grit, resilience and still (mostly) had smiles on their faces!

The sun came out late Wednesday and the last 2 days were beautiful and calm. It was certainly a trip to remember. Anna Garthwaite and I would like to say a massive thank you to parents, Nicola Newlands and Mark Lane. We could not have run the trip without your help.
