River Installation for the 125th Celebrations

A river shaped art installation outside of the Arts Building has been started - you may have already seen it?

The idea is for each student to bring a small rock/stone (from their Tūrangawaewae or to represent them). These will be covered in resin, creating the look that the rocks are underwater (the river will be surrounded by plant life).

We encourage members of our St Hilda's community (and attendees of our 125th Celebrations) to contribute to the installation. This would be such a special 'time capsule' piece, symbolic to all of the places people come from to study at St Hilda's.

This is a lovely chance to be involved in a new development, having your legacy included with many other Alumni and present day students. See the attached photo of the stones we have already have collected!
