Dressing throughout the Decades!

This week we have been preparing for our 125th Anniversary through a number of special events. On Tuesday, it was all about dressing in an outfit from throughout the decades!

We had everything from Flappers, to Aerobics instructors, Olympians, the famous double demin phase and even Kate Sheppard popped by for a visit! It was incredible to see so many different outfits, inspired from the decades St Hilda's has been open. In order to create the perfect style, many trips to the op-shop were made and parents wardrobes raided!

This was a great chance for our students to reflect on what life may have been like for a St Hilda's girl, back in the decades they were dressed from. See this Otago Daily Times link, to watch the online video and read more about the day!
