2020 Prime Ministers' Vocational Excellence Award presented to Alika Croot by Mrs Barron. by Sharon Ritchie

2020 Awards and Tertiary Scholarships

This week we celebrate the awards and scholarships received by a number of our senior students.

The 2020 Prime Ministers Vocational Excellence Award for St Hilda's has been awarded to Year 12 student Alika Croot. Alika undertook a Gateway course in Joinery, studying course work from BCITO and spending a half day each week on industry placement, developing her practical skills with Wood Solutions in South Dunedin. Alika is to be commended for her positive and mature approach to her course ensuring she met with success in a challenging year disrupted by Covid-19 Alert Levels.

A number of our Year 13 students have been awarded Tertiary scholarships with a total value of over $300,000. This is a fantastic effort.

Congratulations to Anna Engelbrecht, Holly Bissett and Amelia Hall who were awarded the top scholarship from Otago -  "The Academic Excellence Entrance Scholarship"

Congratulations to all our recipients and best wishes for their future learning as they transition to life beyond school. For those who have been notified to date please click the image below.
