St Hilda's Parents & Friends Association Report

During Term 4 the PFA has supported the school community by serving Christmas cake at the recent carol singing and assisting with the Year 13 Leavers function.

This term the PFA was pleased to approve donations to the Sports Department towards the upgrade of the score board, the Arts Department to assist with the costs of the school production in 2023, and our annual contribution towards Prize Giving. In addition, approving Sports & Culture funding requests to the value of $1,350.

With our recent change in uniforms the PFA is looking to assist with recycling of old kilts. These can be left either at Tolcarne or the Student Office, we look forward to doing something creative with these in 2023.

As 2022 comes to an end, the PFA is already gearing up for 2023 starting with providing a light lunch and welcome to the new boarder’s parents on Sunday 29th January. Plans are also underway for some entertainment and fundraising early in Term 2, look out for more information at the start of the new year.

The PFA continues to meet the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7pm in the school library, our meetings for Term 1 are scheduled for 15th February and 15th March 2023. We are always keen to welcome new members, or even just a one-off visit.
