Rosenberg Cup Match

During the weekend our XI Cricket played a team of SHCS Alumni, in a game to acknowledge Mr Rosenberg's contribution to school cricket. Despite the overcast weather and in between showers, it was a great match and awesome to see the impact that he has made on so many students lives and love for the sport. 

Some former students had travelled from Wellington for the occasion. The former girls team also comprised of Otago Sparks players and Kate and Georgia Heffernan. Thank you to our current coach Will Deerness for organising and the supporters that came to watch. It was a close match and it came down to the last over! SHCS Old girls took the game by 3 runs! Hopefully this will become an annual event which will create the Rosenberg Cup.
