Otago Museum Exhibition - 100 Women - 100 Words

At the weekend the Otago Museum opened a new exhibition entitled "100 WOMEN 100 WORDS... INFINITE POSSIBILITIES". This exhibition is part of the museum's Full STE(a)M Ahead project, where it works with a number of other agencies.

At the exhibition people will see images of 100 women and girls from Otago and Southland, who have inspired their communities to engage with science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).

The exhibition has several goals including challenging stereotypes of who is involved in STEM, that there is no one way to engage with STEM and that by having these women and girls describe their passion for STEM they may inspire others to pursue STEM subjects.

Eliabel Legrand, Evie Rose Grace and old girl Dayna Gallagher represent girls who have attended St Hilda's. The exhibition is on display in the museum on level one until 13 February 2021.
