Tolcarne News

Another week has flown by at Tolcarne, with the seniors counting down the days to their formal tonight! 

On Sunday afternoon the Year 9 girls headed off to Leap, bouncing around all the trampoline equipment and getting to have a go at Clip and Climb! This was a fun afternoon out and great way to finish the weekend.

Wednesday night meant the Year 9's had Koru. Robyn took the girls for a session on courage. They discussed what courage was and what this looked like. It was compared to 'having some guts', which is what they needed as they sung an individual song each! We heard all sorts, from Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to school songs and even some Britney Spears hits. They did so well getting up in front of their peers and performing a song, without any notice!

The nail bar was in full swing last night, with painting, attempting fake nails and of course lots of nibbles and laughs. You could have mistaken Tolcarne for a beauty salon, with Ange, Ziggy and Robyn switching roles to become beauticians for the night

The smell of nail polish and of course fake tan has been wafting around the corridors, creating lots of excitement amongst the girls!! We can't wait to see all the glamourous outfits this evening

A big thank you to our amazing kitchen team for the incredible spread of food they put together! It was certainly well appreciated
