Open Evening Pianists Serve the School through Music

How lovely it was for visiting families to walk into the chapel for Open Afternoon and Open Evening to hear the lovely sounds of Helena Fitzgerald (afternoon) and Sarah Lee (evening) playing the Piano! This background music may sometimes go unnoticed but forms part of the warm and welcoming atmosphere we create together for these events. Both Helena and Sarah also serve the school through music weekly by playing the piano for chapel. We greatly appreciate both their beautiful playing, the many hours of practice and their generous attitude of service to the school! Thank you Helena and Sarah!

Hot Chocolate and Have a Go! Nga Korimako Junior Choir

This week on Thursday morning junior students had an opportunity to come along and have a go with our junior choir Nga Korimako! To welcome students having a go we enjoyed hot chocolate and marshmallows together before singing. Existing choir members even had a chance to sing for their friends who had come along on the day. Everyone had a great time especially Mr Madden who loves to share his enthusiasm for singing!
