Country Music Dunedin Awards (CMDA)

Well done to SHCS students (Gabby Chisholm, Hannah Lawrence, Holly Hesson, Sylvie Harper and Kate Moyle) that entered in the Country Music Dunedin Awards last weekend. There were nearly 300 entrants, with people attending from across the South Island of all different ages! There were categories for Tiny Tots, Junior, Intermediate, Senior and Over 40.

Congratulations to Sylvie Harper who was awarded the 'Kempton Family Encouragement Award'. The recipient is chosen by the judges and awarded to a competitor that they believe shows the most promise and potential for the future. Well done to all of the students involved!
