Junior Inter-house Competition
Part 1: Physical Teamwork - Tug ‘o war
This week we held 'Part 1' of our Junior Inter-house Competition. Each house had three tug'o war challenges against the other houses in different age groups (e.g Year 10 vs Year 10, Year 9 vs 9 and Year 7&8 vs Year 7&8). In total we had 18 tug'o war challenges held!
The rankings for the total number of wins from 'Part 1' are;
- Havelock 1st (8 wins)
- Wellington 2nd
- Nelson 3rd
- Lawrence 4th
The next round of the Junior Inter-house Competition will be our Current Events Kahoot, held early Term 4 - followed by Part 3 and 4 later in the term.
It was great to see everyone involved in the challenge, with friendly rivalry increasing the house spirit! We look forward to next term, where the competitions will include a range of tasks to challenge all
