Tolcarne News

Wow another week down already! Paddle Boarding in the weekend was a hit, with the weather not stopping the girls from having a great time down at the harbour! This weekend the girls are heading to Moana Pool with Fran and Josie for their outing.

Koru for the year 10 girls on Tuesday night consisted of a stepping up to the line activity. They had to be brave in order take ownership of their decisions and through staying true to themselves with their answers, even when it did feel hard.

We would love to invite the Year 9 day girls to come and join us at Tolcarne for a complimentary breakfast and to make a yummy packed lunch on Thursday March 26th. Girls can be dropped off at Tolcarne after 7am and before 7.30am to enjoy a Tolcarne Breakfast and make a packed lunch. Girls can choose from our smoothie and chia seed pudding station, a hot breakfast item, cereals, the toast bay and egg option for breakfast. To make a packed lunch they will need to bring a lunch box and a plastic container to make their own poke bowl, or wrap/filled roll, take some baking and fruit or a chia seed pudding for their morning tea and lunch. After breakfast and lunch making the girls are welcome to hang out at Tolcarne to see what our school morning life looks like and then head off down the bush track to school at 8.20am.

Please rsvp to the following link by Thursday March 19th - Thank you. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScQ8GSEcXiKjVmzL1qXpgUG_dYnqHYM_lZEDJ3hubAzKHWs5A/viewform

We look forward to hosting the St Hilda year 9 day girls at our shared Breakfast Initiative.

A massive congratulations to Steve Henderson, who is graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Management from the Otago Polytechnic today – We are very proud. Mrs Rathbone and some of our girls will be with Mrs Barron at the Wanaka Show this weekend. Make sure you go and say hi if you are attending.
