Year 10 Still Life Painting with Mr Sutherland and Mrs Maw

With still life you know the objects won't ever move, so our Year 10 students have been able to conduct focused studies session after session. Students have learnt how to compose a scene using shapes, introduce a complementary colour scheme and render realistic lighting. All of this trains the eye which ultimately improves the skillset of an artist. Amazing work Year 10's!
