St Hilda's Collegiate School

Dear Parents and Caregivers

Once again we thank you all for your patience and flexibility as we work through the ramifications of Alert Level 2. I know it is incredibly disappointing for those students involved in many of the sporting events and our annual Quad tournament that have had to be postponed or cancelled, and hopefully some events will be rescheduled.

We are very grateful that we were able to hold our Athletics Sports Day

We continue to plan for the 125th celebrations with over 500 registrations already received. It is going to be a very exciting event and the school-based activities for the students will be able to go ahead within the school day at Level 2. The fashion parade yesterday was a highlight and you will find photos of the past St Hilda's uniforms further on in the newsletter.

We host our Academic Blues next Wednesday and as mentioned previously we are incredibly proud of all the students who sat NCEA last year.

Please find in the article below, the breakdown of pass rates and endorsements compared to the national statistics and other Decile 8-10 girls schools.

While planning for the Academic Blues continues assuming we are in Level 1, should we still be in Level 2 next week, parents who have been invited to the Academic Blues ceremony will sadly be unable to attend. We will be in touch to confirm arrangements.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend, and hopefully we can share events together as a community in the coming weeks.

Nga mihi

Jackie Barron
