St Hilda's Collegiate School

Kia ora parents and whanau,

It has been wonderful to have everyone back on the campus, and we are all looking forward to a productive, purposeful and fun term. This is a term of new beginnings with winter sports, Showquest and many other events being held.

We continue to be vigilant with our Health and Safety measures and request that students think about others in their community as well as their own health needs. We are very excited to have the Whitby/Chapel build started and the demolition of Whitby is well underway. While this has caused some disruption to the flow of movement around the school, and some classes have had to move, generally the work is progressing very well and we are grateful to Stevenson & Williams for their considered approach to the build and their willingness to work around the routines and daily requirements of the school.

The Parent Advisory Group meets next week on the 12th May at 5.30pm in the library so please RSVP to admin@shcs.school.nz if you are interested in attending. We are seeking feedback and parent's input on assessment for learning and our current reporting systems. Please find in the article titled Parent Advisory Group material that will give you some background and help you to prepare for the meeting.

Nga mihi nui
