"My name is Rosa and I am the paddock volunteer coordinator for Dunedin Riding for the Disabled. We are one of 56 voluntary (not-for-profit) Riding for Disabled groups around New Zealand, and we are affiliated with the New Zealand Riding for Disabled Association. Our mission is to provide confidence, independence and well-being for people with disabilities through therapeutic horse riding and horse care.

We are looking for some keen outdoorsy people to join our horse care volunteering team! This involves mucking paddocks, preparing feed and feeding horses, covering and moving horses when necessary, and keeping our ponies healthy and happy. This would be perfect for those wanting some horsey love or those needing some volunteering hours for Duke of Ed or school.

No horse experience necessary, if you would like to do it as a group with some friends you are more than welcome to!"
