Careers Information - Open Day Event

Telford Open Day is only 2 weeks away!

The event will run from 10am to 2pm on Friday, 15 October, and will be held at the Telford Campus, Balclutha.

Potential learners can find out about the fees-free courses we offer, with additional programmes now added for 2022. This includes the New Zealand NZ Certificate in Wool Technology and Classing (Level 4), a two-year part-time programme which prepares students to work as wool classers in the wool industry either on-farm or beyond the farm gate in roles such as broker, merchant, scourer or exporter.

It also includes the New Zealand Certificate in NZ Certificate in Te Reo Māori (He Pī Ka Pao) - Level 1 & 2 qualification which is newly offered by Telford in 2022. The Te Reo Māori skills will be useful in everyday life in Aotearoa. They’ll also be great if you work in education, Māori organisations, media or anywhere you deal with the public

Tutors from the different study areas will be on hand to answer questions at the Open Day, and help people make decisions about their future.
