St Hilda's Kea Crossing

Every day, morning and afternoon, we have two junior students operating our school road crossing. It is an important duty, allowing students to cross the busy Royal Terrace. All of them are trained and cannot operate the crossing without the Police training. To recognise the service, we now have a Kea crossing badge.

All Juniors are asked to volunteer at least twice in their time in the junior school. We need their support to keep our community safe.

Thank you to all who have operated the crossing and those who will in Term 4 and beyond. Our Year 7s and a few year 9s completed their training on a sunny Wednesday this week.
