Learning Conversations

As mentioned last week we have looked at ways to manage the things that were interrupted by lockdown while working around the revised senior timetable for Term 4. We are aware that only some parents were able to attend our last round of Learning Conversations and to address this we will hold Learning Conversations in Week 1 of Term 4.

These are a chance for you to meet with your child’s subject teachers to discuss particular aspects of their learning and put in place plans going forward. This discussion is with the teacher, student and parent.

The compressed time means that for Year 11-13 students the NCEA progress reports and the Learning conversations will be at similar times.

These learning conversations will take place on Thursday  21 October (6:00 pm - 9:00 pm), and Friday 22 October (9:30 am - 4:00 pm).

On Friday 22 October the school will be open but we will not be running timetabled classes. Supervision will be provided for girls who need to be at school.

We realise that it is not always possible for you to make this meeting in person and If this is the case please feel free to still make a booking for your child and utilise Skype, facetime or Google meet to join the conversation. Your child needs to come to the meeting with their device to enable you to do this.

The interview site  will open for bookings on Tuesday 5 October at 3:30pm.
