Digital Technology

The Year 10 Digital Technologies students are involved in a project with Otago Polytechnic to develop CO2 monitoring sensors for the SHCS classrooms. These sensors will allow teachers and students to better monitor the air quality in the classroom. The monitors will alert students and staff when CO2 levels are high and the room needs ventilation. This week the class went to the Otago Polytechnic to learn how to connect the sensors and practiced their soldering techniques.

SHCS would like to thank Adon Moskal and Marin Junek from Otago Polytechnic for their help with this project.
