Dear Parents and Caregivers

Going to the school production was a wonderful way to finish last week, a big smile on people's faces, toes tapping and singing along to some great songs. A huge thank you to the cast and crew of 'Footloose', who produced such a very professional and high quality show, and one they clearly enjoyed performing. A huge amount of work for staff and students, for which we are very grateful.

A big thank you too, to Mrs Ritchie for all her organisation of the Careers evening last night. It was so heartening to see so many of our students and their parents attend to hear inspirational Rasha Abu-Safieh and take advantage of this excellent opportunity to hear from so many women about their diverse passions, interests and career pathways. I am sure all of those who attended came away better informed and with a sense of purpose for their next steps. We are very fortunate to have such committed staff and supportive women in our community who come together to create this fabulous event for our students.

The term continues to race along with Quad tournament, Hip Hop and Aerobics regionals, winter sports, and the Z Club Pink Ribbon breakfast coming up (Make sure you get in early for tickets!). We are very fortunate to be able to offer so many opportunities to our students and we are appreciative of the community support that assists us.

After the Curriculum evening last term, we look forward to hosting a Parent Advisory Group evening on the 15th September. Utilising feedback from parents, the focus of the evening will be on assessment for learning and we welcome any parents in the library at 7.00pm.
