Ministry of Health 'Guardians of the Future'

The Ministry of Health MMR campaign 'Guardians of the Future', has commenced nationwide to increase immunity of measles for young people aged 15-30 years. See below for more information from the Ministry of Heath.

"Did you know that measles is even more contagious than Covid-19? It is important to get vaccinated to protect you and your whanau from this serious disease.

If you are aged between 15-30 years old and you haven’t been vaccinated against measles you can access a free MMR vaccination from your GP or participating pharmacies.

Check that you, your whanau and those that you study or work with are up to date with their measles vaccinations.

Help to protect the Southern region against measles.
