We certainly feel ready for the festive season, after completing a different activity each evening, with Christmas music adding to our excitement!

On Monday night we started with snowballs and Christmas truffles. There was a lot of chocolatey mess while we created these, but they looked very cute once decorations were added!

Tuesday rolled around and the Year 10s had their turn to make hot chocolate bombs! These are the ultimate hot drink, where we made a chocolate sphere filled with milo and marshmallows - melted in warm milk We also tested out ‘chocolate spoons’ this year, which were a hit - yum! The Year 9 students then had a chance to complete these on Thursday.

A highlight on the Term 4 planner is always the Gingerbread House decorating competition, which we did on Wednesday evening. Each group created very different designs, covered in all sorts of sweet treats and icing. Take a look below at a few of the houses, perhaps some more structurally stable than others  The winning house for both year groups will be announced on Monday!

A big thank you to the kitchen team for this week. They have let us take over their space in the afternoons and evenings to prepare for our activities  We really appreciate it!
