Congratulations to Anya Clark...

Last weekend Anya battled the mud and snow to win the South Island Women's Cross Country MotoCross Championship. Her skill level, consistency, sportsmanship and her determination to keep going under any circumstances or weather events was very impressive. Well done Anya!

Clay Trap Shooting

In what can only be described as "highly variable" conditions, St Hilda's Top Gun, Rosa Smith, performed admirably to gain top Points Score in the girls' competition and second in two nail-biting shoot-offs second Girls' Single Barrel and Single Rise.

If anyone is interested......

Cycling South Canterbury and South Canterbury MTB club are hosting the SI Schools Cyclocross champs in Timaru at the scenic reserve on 24 July.

Please note: It is called “Cyclocross” but you can ride a MTB bike for schools cyclocross racing.

It’s a really good opportunity for our local kids to enter this event which is right in our back yard! The more kids they get entered, the more fun they have, and the more chances our area has of hosting events in the future
