'Dear Covid-19'

Dear Covid 19,

People are dying every day,

But you don’t seem to care

People are protesting a pandemic

Which makes me pull my hair

And Trump is lying with everything he says,

And people are unaware

My social life is down the drain,

And I think I’ve gone insane

Isolation has me bored

And my homework is getting ignored

But the rivers are clearer

And the air is fresher

The dolphins are nearer

And the grass is greener

Bonding with the family,

Going on for walks

The days are blending into one

And I’m just sitting here on my bum

So maybe it’s a thanks

Or maybe go away

But I know for sure

I’m not standing in the line at Paknsave
