NZCAF Regional Competition

We had a fantastic weekend at the NZCAF Regional Competition, held at Kavanagh College here in Dunedin. 32 athletes competed for St Hilda's and all performed amazingly. The students should feel very proud of their efforts, with 17 qualifying for Nationals in Wellington.

RESULTS:
- Sasha Lamb came 3rd in her category and qualified for NZCAF Nationals (junior secondary open novice)
- Zara Geddes came 2nd in her category and qualified for NZCAF Nationals (senior secondary open novice)
- Alexia Jones came 3rd in her category and qualified for NZCAF Nationals (senior secondary open novice)
- Rylee May came 2nd in her category and qualified for NZCAF Nationals (senior open individual)
- Molly Luxton and Bonnie Wilson came 2nd in their category and qualified for NZCAF Nationals (pre-choreographed intermediate teams)
- 'Girls Gone Bad' fitness Team with Issy Tierney, Maia Lamb and Millie Johnston came 1st in their category and qualified for NZCAF Nationals
- Sasha Lamb and Cassie Horo came 3rd in their category and qualified for NZCAF Nationals (secondary open teams)
- Bridget Sinclair and Issy Tierney came 1st in their category and qualified for NZCAF Nationals (FISAF Teams)
- Chloe Woodhouse (in a team with Immy Morey from OGHS) came 1st in their category and qualified for NZCAF Nationals (FISAF Junior Teams)
- Sophie Wagner - qualified for NZCAF Nationals (Intermediate individual)
- Molly Wagner - qualified for NZCAF Nationals (pre-choreographed secondary individual)
- Sophie Lloyd & Liesel Tolson - qualified for NZCAF Nationals (secondary open teams)
- Sofia Johnston - qualified for NZCAF Nationals (Secondary open individual)

Some more impressive results:
- Chloe Woodhouse came 1st in her category and qualified for NZCAF Nationals (junior secondary open individual) and received 2 trophies: Highest Scoring Individual and Outstanding Aerobic Performance
- Molly Wagner and Kyla Ashton came 2nd in their category and qualified for NZCAF Nationals. They received a trophy: Artistic Excellence
