A massive congratulations to our 1st XV rugby team for their outstanding game and win against Wakatipu High School on Monday afternoon in Cromwell. Conditions were tough in the rain and the wind but our girls gave it their all, winning 50 - 6!!!

A huge thanks to John Bradfield and Deidre Birks for supporting our girls as they approached this semi final and to all the parents who came to Monday's game.

We now play The Highlanders Region Final against Southland Girls on Monday 23rd August at 1.30pm in Invercargill.

Hockey

It was semi final time this week for our hockey girls in the Otago Secondary Schools Competition.

On Monday night we had 3 teams in the Division 2 semifinals!!! Our Colts team (top of the table) had a great game against Columba, winning 2 - 0. In the other semi final our Junior A's played our 3rd X1 and won 3 - 2. Congratulations to all teams for making the Division 2 finals. Next Monday the Colts will be playing our Junior A's, how awesome is that?!

On Tuesday night in the Division 1 Semifinals, our 1st X1 played Otago Girls 1st X1 - taking the win 5 - 0. Our 2nd X1 took on Columba in a tough semi final. Unfortunately they had a loss, but what a fantastic game that their goalie Jess Wilden had! All the best to our 1st X1 for their final on Tuesday night against Columba.

What a fantastic season from our hockey girls, we wish them all the best for their finals!
