Here at St Joseph's our uniform consists of either black or brown leather shoes OR plain black sneakers.

I have noticed that an increased number of children are wearing non uniform shoes to school. 

We are training for the cross country this term; however this is not a reason to be wearing non compliant shoes to school. Children have the choice to wear plain black sneakers as part of the uniform OR are able to bring along a pair of comfortable running shoes which they will be able to change into for running. 

If there is a reason why children are unable to wear their school uniform shoes, parents will need to contact Whaea Aroha, otherwise it is expected that every child is wearing uniform compliant shoes each day.
