Learning to read, write and spell in the Pukeko room.

I am so proud of the children who are all making so much progress with their Reading, Writing and Spelling. 

We have been learning-

-the vowels a, e ,i, o, u  

- Short vowel sounds eg. the a sound in the word am

 -Long vowel sounds eg. the o sound in the word no 

-Consonant sounds eg. s, t, m, n, p

-Letter formation

We then use all of this new learning to read, write and spell words.
